School gate pass and visitor management software
A school gate needs to distinguish a visitor arriving on campus from a student leaving with permission. Shikshaware Gate Pass Management supports these workflows with pass records, configured approval steps and recorded movements. Gate staff still need to verify identity, authorization and the current pass status before allowing a movement.
Request a demonstrationWhat you can manage
- Separate visitor and student-departure workflows with configured roles.
- Pass creation and approval checks before permitted movements.
- QR-based pass lookup with current-status checks; scanning is not a substitute for identity verification.
- Recorded entry and exit movements for authorized review.
- Visitor contact and movement reports with Indian Standard Time (IST) display.
A practical workflow for your school
Start by confirming who may create, approve and process passes in the school's settings. Record the visit or student departure request and complete the applicable approval checks. At the gate, use the pass or QR lookup to review its current status, verify the person and record the permitted entry or exit. Record the return or end of the visit where the workflow requires it. Authorized staff can then review visitor contact details and movement times in IST. Demonstrate an approved pass, a pass that is not approved and a visit with an outstanding exit record before rollout.
Does scanning a gate-pass QR code automatically authorize entry or exit?
No. A QR lookup helps staff find a pass. They must still check the person's identity, the pass status and the applicable approval before recording a permitted movement. Ask for a demonstration of rejected or unapproved requests as well as a normal visit. Availability and permissions depend on the school's enabled Gate Pass Management settings.
